I saw Steve Aoki spin at the Whiskey last night. Amazing DJ, shitty venue. Although the crowd was different from the usual which made it alright. This is the second time I've seen Aoki and he just keeps getting better. If you get a chance to see this dude spin, DO IT! Dim Mak fucking rules.

I remembered why Jack Daniels and I broke up a long time ago. OIY!



What the fuck is the deal with these shoes? Those are horrible.... I bet they cost a ridiculous amount of money too. If you're the asshole dumb enough to purchase and wear these shoes, please email me, I am wondering out of curiosity what kind of person buys such hideous crap..... although I already have my ideas I just need confirmation.

I should be doing some homework..... but to be honest with you, I'm kinda sick of it so I'm just not going to do it right now.

Last night I spent an evening with Kevin Smith. Let me tell you, that fat man is hilarious. It was pretty much straight Q&A all night from some serious fan boys. I thought about getting up there and asking him some ridiculous questions such as, "Are you a fan of getting your dickhole fingered," to "will you sign my butt?" But the line up was ridiculously long and I wasn't about to stand in line for the majority of the show. That is the first time that I've ever gone to see Kevin Smith and I wondered how far it would go if I were to sit down and chat with him.... and I mean how graphic and disgusting would this conversation get?

I loved the book "Silent Bob Speaks," however "My Boring Ass Life" was just that.... boring. Can't say I'd read it again, actually, I don't think I even finished it the first time around.

If I haven't yet forced you to listen to "Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles" by Steve Aoki, I highly recommend that you do so right now. RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

Anyways I came across this picture today and I thought it was just amazing so I wanted to share it (see above). Absolutely fantastic grafitti art done by Yuma and Axe in Padova, Italy. That is fucking talent. If only I had any sort of artistic talent. If anyone out there knows how to write on canvas I would love to learn. Teach me wise one! Check out this month's issue of Juxtapoz for some absolutely rad grafitti.

The CD I love right now is Santogold. She is amazing, don't be a cheap ass, go out and buy it, it's only $10. SUPPORT GOOD MUSIC. For the love of God who is still buying Nickelback albums? I know most of your are going to download it anyways, listen to it and say "What the fuck is Jen talking about? This sucks!" Give it a chance people..... I remember when I purchased M.I.A's first album everyone thought it sucked, then I bought her second album "Kala" and everyone asked me what sort of weird "Bollywood" crap I was listening to. But hey, who doesn't love Paper Planes now that it's on every god damn radio station and in every movie? FUCKING LISTEN TO ME, I'M ALWAYS RIGHT. I'm not a music snob, I love it all, I'm just telling YOU not to be a music snob. Open up your ears and give it a chance. I promise, you'll love it when you stop being such a dick. Favourite tracks of mine off this album would be.... well all of it. I don't think I dislike a single song. BUT I do love "I'm a Lady," "Creator," "Starstruck," "You'll Find a Way (Remix)" and "Lights Out." If you don't love this album it's probably because you're one of the stupid assholes that keeps buying Nickelback albums... or perhaps you've moved on to bigger and better things like Miley Cyrus or those ridculous Jonas Brothers that all the kids seem to be going wild for.

I'm reading "I Am America (And So Can You!)" By Stephen Colbert right now... absolutely genius. If you can get your hands on a copy I highly highly recommend it.
